Day By Day Tours

Upon your arrival in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide. From there, you will embark on a scenic journey to Volcanoes National Park. As you travel, you will be captivated by the breathtaking landscapes and rolling hills that Rwanda is renowned for. Once you reach the park, you will check in at your accommodation and have some time to relax and prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking experience ahead.

After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will head to the park headquarters for a comprehensive briefing about gorilla trekking guidelines and safety precautions. With the guidance of experienced trackers and rangers, you will begin your first gorilla trek into the dense forest. The trek can vary in duration and difficulty, depending on the movement of the gorilla families. Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend a precious hour in their presence, observing their behaviour, capturing photographs, and learning about their conservation efforts. After the trek, you will return to your lodge to relax and relish the memories of your encounter with these magnificent creatures.

On the third day, you will embark on another thrilling gorilla trekking adventure, this time to encounter a different gorilla family. Each gorilla family has its own unique dynamics and characteristics, providing you with a fresh and distinct experience. As you navigate through the lush forest, you will have the opportunity to witness the playful interactions, feeding habits, and social bonds of these incredible creatures. Your experienced guide will share fascinating insights about the gorillas and their conservation efforts. After the trek, you will return to your lodge, reflecting on the incredible encounters you’ve had with the gorillas.

On the final day of your tour, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast at your lodge, savouring the last moments in the beautiful surroundings of Volcanoes National Park. After checking out, you will bid farewell to the park and embark on the journey back to Kigali. If time permits, you can opt for a city tour of Kigali, which may include visits to historical landmarks, museums, or local markets, providing you with insights into Rwanda’s rich culture and history. Finally, your guide will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda.
