Day 1, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale Forest National Park via Mubende and Mityana. You will have lunch en route in Fort portal town and reach the Park in the afternoon. Upon arrival, go for the afternoon nature walk in the Crater Lake region. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimp nest for mid-range/Ndali lodge or primates lodge for Luxury/Chimpanzee guest house for the budget
Day 2, Chimp trek and Bigodi Swamp Walk
After breakfast, you will set out for the morning briefing of the Chimpanzee tracking activity at Kanyachu the Park Headquarters and later after this, you will enter the forest to search for the man’s closest friend the chimps and all trackers must be above 18 years of age.
The experience you will get when you are with these chimps will enable you to figure out the similarities between the Chimps and Man. Besides the chimps, you will also be able to see other primate species such as the grey-cheeked mangabeys, baboons and vervet monkeys.
Return back to the Lodge for Lunch and in the afternoon go for the afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi. Here the guide will provide details about the flora and fauna that you will encounter and then after, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chimp nest for mid-range/Ndali lodge or primates lodge for Luxury/Chimpanzee guest house for the budget
Day 3, Transfer back to Kampala
After your breakfast, visit the Toro Kingdom palace which was built on top of the hill attracting views of the Rwenzori ranges and Fort portal town. Later proceed to Kampala via Mubende with a lunch stop en route. Drop off will be at your Hotel in Kampala/ Jina or at the airport for your flight back home
