Kibale Forest National Park
Kibale Forest National Park, located in western Uganda, is a biodiverse haven renowned for its population of chimpanzees and other primates. Spanning over 770 square kilometres, it is one of Uganda's most accessible rainforest reserves and a hotspot for primate tracking and birdwatching.
The park's dense tropical rainforest is home to an impressive 13 primate species, including the endangered chimpanzees, as well as red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and L'Hoest's monkeys.
