15 Days Uganda Wildlife and Cultural Safari

Package overview

Your safari begins with rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park. From there, you travel west to Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking, Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and the Ishasha sector, then Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking.

After Bwindi, you slow down at Lake Bunyonyi before continuing to Lake Mburo National Park, Kampala, and Jinja for an optional River Nile rafting experience.

This route works well because it moves in a clear loop. You do not jump randomly between parks.

Who is this trip for?

This 15-day Uganda safari is for you if you want the full Uganda route: rhino tracking, Murchison Falls, chimpanzee tracking in Kibale, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha, gorilla trekking in Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi, Lake Mburo, the Equator, and the River Nile.

It is not a short safari. You will have several long drives.

That is the trade-off. In return, you see Uganda’s main wildlife, primate, culture, lake, and river experiences in one journey.

What will you see?

On this safari in Uganda, your route includes:

  • Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
  • Game drives in Murchison Falls National Park
  • Boat safari on the River Nile
  • Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park
  • Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park
  • Ishasha sector, known for tree-climbing lions
  • Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
  • Lake Bunyonyi islands and local communities
  • Lake Mburo National Park
  • Equator stop on the way to Kampala
  • Optional River Nile rafting in Jinja

This is one of the stronger Uganda tour packages if you want more than one park and more than one type of experience.

Typical price range

Typical range: from $999–6,500 per person sharing.

Your final price depends on your travel dates, lodge category, group size, gorilla permit availability, chimpanzee permit availability, and optional activities such as River Nile rafting.

If you want a simpler quote, send your dates, number of travellers, and preferred lodge level: budget, mid-range, or luxury.
