Situated at the highest point of the park on the Mweya Peninsula, Lake Katwe is renowned for its salt production. Take in the panoramic views of the Rift Valley, Lake George, Lake Edward, the Kazinga Channel, and the Rwenzori Mountains. Explore the Katwe explosion craters, hike through tea plantations, and witness the unique Lake Kitagata. After the visit, return to the park for dinner and an overnight stay at the Mweya Safari Lodge.
