Over the course of four days, you’ll enjoy two full days of expertly guided fishing targeting Nile perch, catfish, and other freshwater species, stay in the elegant Paraa Safari Lodge, and explore Uganda’s most scenic and wildlife-rich national park. The safari begins and ends in Kampala or Entebbe, making it a perfect short getaway into Uganda’s untamed wilderness.

Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

Your adventure begins early in the morning as your driver-guide picks you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at around 6:30 AM. After a quick briefing, you’ll embark on a scenic 311 km journey (approximately 5–6 hours) northwest to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive takes you through the historic Luwero Triangle, offering views of lush countryside, roadside markets, and local villages bustling with daily life.

En route, you’ll stop at the Equator Crossing, where you can stand in both hemispheres at once and enjoy a fun photo opportunity. After lunch in Masindi town, you’ll proceed into the park, arriving at Paraa Safari Lodge, your luxurious home for the next three nights.

Later in the afternoon, set out for your first game drive across the expansive savannahs of Murchison Falls. As the sun begins to set, wildlife becomes more active. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, hartebeest, Uganda kobs, and abundant birdlife. After an exhilarating drive, return to the lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the night. Accommodation Options:
