After an early breakfast at your Hotel in Kampala, you will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi town. You will have lunch in Masindi town after which you will enter Murchison falls through the Kichumbanyobo gate. The Park is well known for the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the world’s longest river detonates fervently through a tapered crevice in the Rift Valley escarpment to thrust into a foaming pool 43m below. Here you will see the magnificent top of the falls and where it is believed to be raining all day throughout the year and also forming the Rainbow. Retire to your assigned place of accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge for Luxury/Sambiya River Lodge for Mid range and Red Chill campsite for the budget.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set out for the game drive on the Northern sector of the Park. Expect to encounter animals like Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, baboons, and several different antelopes. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon set out for the launch cruise on the Albert Nile to the Bottom of the falls. Expect to see animals like Hippos, crocodiles, Waterbucks, and a wide variety of bird species. You will also reach the “Devils Cauldron” where you will be able to see the majestic Murchison Falls. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge for Luxury/Sambiya River Lodge for Mid range and Red Chill campsite for the budget.
After breakfast, you will travel to Kibale Forest national park. The journey will take almost 7-8 hours drive. This journey will take you through the verdant countryside of the Albertine Escarpment. Also, you will pass by Hoima homesteads for a clear view of the true African culture. Lunch will be held en route in Hoima town. Proceed with the journey to Fort portal and later reach Kibale in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimp nest for mid-range/Ndali lodge or primates lodge for Luxury/Chimpanzee guest house for the budget.
After breakfast, you will set out for the morning briefing of the Chimpanzee tracking activity at Kanyachu the Park Headquarters and later after this, you will enter the forest to search for the man’s closest friend the chimps and all trackers must be above 18 years of age. The experience you will get when you are with these chimps will enable you to figure out the similarities between the Chimps and Man. Besides the chimps, you will also be able to see other primate species such as the grey-cheeked mangabeys, baboons and vervet monkeys. Return to the Lodge for Lunch and in the afternoon go for the afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi. Here the guide will provide details about the flora and fauna that you will encounter and then after, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chimp nest for mid-range/Ndali lodge or primates lodge for Luxury/Chimpanzee guest house for the budget.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En-route visit the crater regions for scenic viewing. A game drive en-route will offer you views of different wildlife species and also acacia trees. Dinner and overnight stay at Simba Safari camp for budget/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge or Hippo Hill camp for mid-range/ Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana Safari Lodge for Luxury.
Early morning g after breakfast, you will set out for the game drive along the Kasenyi track for game viewing including the Buffalo, Elephant, Warthog and Lion. After this, return to the lodge for lunch and later depart for the 2 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Here you will encounter a close look at the Hippos, crocodiles and other bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at Simba Safari camp for budget/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge or Hippo Hill camp for mid-range/ Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana Safari Lodge for Luxury.
After breakfast, you will go for the morning chimp trek in Kyambura Gorge. You will drive through the grassland area, straight away and come transversely to an amazing ravine of tropical rainforest 100 meters deep. The Rangers will provide you with all the necessary information about the gorge and then later you will return to your lodge for refreshments and transfer back to Kampala with a brief stopover at the Equator for water experiment and photographs; also stop over at Mpigi (Mpambire drum village) where you can be able to watch the ceremonial drums made out of local materials. Reach Kampala in the afternoon/ Kampala in the evening. Drop off will be at your Hotel in Kampala or the airport for your flight back home.
