Today after your breakfast you will be taken to Entebbe Airport/ Kajjansi airfield to catch your fly-in safari to Kasese (Queen Elizabeth N.P.).
The journey will take you about 2 hours to reach the Kasese airstrip.
Upon arrival in Kasese, you will be picked up from the airstrip by a representative of Littlerock safaris heading to your accommodation which is Mweya Safari Lodge located in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the Mweya peninsula. Watch wildlife from your private verandah and fall asleep to the roaring of lions on the distant savannah. This truly is Africa!.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s second largest park, located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. Lions are often sighted both inside and at the entrance to the park.
Today you wake up early. A little before sunrise coffee/tea will be served in the lounge before you head out for a long game drive in time to see the first rays of light. You will search for all the wildlife in the park and are likely to come across elephants, Buffalo, Lion, Water-buck, Leopard, Uganda Kob, and many Warthogs.
A well-deserved lunch will be served back at the lodge in the late morning.
In the afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Here, you will see a lot of hippos (more than you can possibly imagine!), as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see buffalo, crocodiles, bathing elephants, and a range of beautiful birds.

Today you will be transferred to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth N.P. This area is called Ishasha and is famous for its tree-climbing lions.
To escape from the heat during the day, the lions learned how to climb the fig trees. If you’re lucky you might spot a few during your afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, you will be taken to Ishasha Wilderness Camp, a very nice and luxurious lodge with wonderful views over the savanna and a river packed with hippos!
Lunch and dinner and overnight stay at Ishasha Wilderness Camp

After breakfast, you will do another game drive and have a chance to spot the tree-climbing lions. After lunch at Ishasha Wilderness Camp, you will be transferred to Buhoma in Bwindi, home of the mountain gorillas.
Buhoma community Haven Lodge is a spacious site lying above Buhoma village, a 5-minute drive from the main road, and this elevated location guarantees the best views across Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
It was opened in December 2014 to help the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America ( Bermuda) cater for clients interested in something more than budget accommodation.

On an exciting day on your 9-Day Uganda Wildlife Luxury safaris, prepare yourself for an encounter with one of Bwindi’s gentle giants: the rare mountain gorilla. For most people, this is the absolute highlight of their safari in Uganda. The gorillas you will track belong to one of nine habituated family groups that can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day.
Your gorilla trekking will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorillas’ habitat. En route, your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots.
Once the gorillas have been located, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Thereafter you will come back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, tour the Northern section of Murchison with a high concentration of Savannah wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffaloes, water-bucks, giraffes, Uganda kob and lions, the leopards (if you are lucky) plus a variety of bird species.
Return to your accommodation for lunch and a brief repose. After lunch, you will embark on a 3-hour boat trip to the base of the falls. This trip is said to be the highlight of the safari in Murchison Falls since it allows you to get up close to the animal species within the water. Cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls. You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures, so carry your camera with you if you like.
Also, proceed for a hike (if you like) to the top of the falls. The hike is a strenuous one but the thrill of reaching the top is unforgettable as you climax the 9-Day Uganda Wildlife. Miss it only if you must! Return to your accommodation.
Accommodation: Chobe Safari lodge

In the morning you will drive to the top of the Murchison Falls. Here you will have some time to walk around. From here you have a wonderful view and fantastic photo opportunities!
