Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Scenic Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

your professional safari guide greets you and offers a short briefing about the adventure ahead. After introductions, you embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwestern Uganda—an estimated 9-hour journey through rolling hills, terraced farms, and vibrant rural landscapes.

Along the way, you’ll stop for lunch and photo opportunities as you cross the equator and pass through towns rich in culture and tradition. Upon arrival at your lodge tucked within the forest, you’ll check in, unwind, and enjoy a hearty dinner surrounded by the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves.

Spend the evening relaxing by the fireplace or soaking in the forest views from your private balcony, as anticipation builds for your gorilla encounter the following day.
