Start with morning chimpanzee tracking in Budongo, then transfer to Kibale Forest, home to 13 primate species and over 370 bird species. Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse birding destination with over 600 species. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where African Skimmers, Goliath Herons, Great White Pelicans, and other waterfowl congregate.
Begin your day with a savannah birding drive in Kasenyi Plains, looking out for Martial Eagle, Temminck’s Courser, and Ruppell’s Griffon Vulture. Later, drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for tree-climbing lions, en route to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Rise early for a full day of birding in the Buhoma sector of Bwindi. Expect forest jewels like Red-throated Alethe, Black Bee-eater, Equatorial Akalat, and Montane Oriole. Listen for melodious calls from the Snowy-capped Robin-Chat and Dusky Twinspot.

Spend your final birding day exploring the open woodlands and wetlands of Lake Mburo. Look for the Brown-chested Lapwing, Lilac-breasted Roller, African Finfoot, Bare-faced Go-away-bird, and numerous acacia-associated species. Optional boat ride or game drive in the park.
